BUDDHISM BASICS page 26 Buddha Directs His Disciples to LectureBuddha did even more than command his Disciples to spread the word, he also told them HOW TO SPREAD THE WORD. I haven't finished the webpages yet, but I have started my own SHAOLIN ZEN CYBERTEMPLE webpages that discuss what Buddha instructed. Buddha, 2500 years ago, was telling people "...to listen first, then say your side." Regarding translating his words (Dharma) into various languages: "Change my words into sentences that each person can understand. The words are unimportant." The meaning is the Dharma. So I'll struggle to reshape the Dharma into usable words for more people to use.
